Explore the five key benefits of the MBtek APOLLO series heat pumps when integrated into a Hydronic All-in-One HVAC System for residential heating and cooling. These heat pumps are designed to provide efficient and versatile solutions for maintaining comfort in your home.
1. Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings:
The APOLLO series heat pumps utilize advanced EVI Inverter DC technology, making them highly energy-efficient. Here’s how they contribute to cost savings:
COP (Coefficient of Performance): The APOLLO heat pumps achieve impressive COP values, reaching as high as 5.65 for a Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP). This means they deliver more heat output for every unit of electricity consumed, resulting in reduced energy bills.
Annual Efficiency: With an annual COP of 4.88, these heat pumps consistently perform well throughout the year, whether you need heating during winter or cooling in the summer.
2. Extreme Cold and Heat Operation:
The APOLLO heat pumps are engineered to operate efficiently even in extreme temperatures. These units can function in ambient temperatures as low as -31°F and as high as 110°F. Whether you’re dealing with frosty winters or scorching summers, the APOLLO heat pumps maintain reliable performance.
3. Quiet and Virtually Silent Operation:
Say goodbye to noisy HVAC systems! The APOLLO heat pumps are designed for quiet operation. The step-less inverter compressor ensures smooth and noise-free operation, producing only 52 dB (APOLLO 3.5 Ton) less noise than standard On/Off heat pumps, akin to the sound level of a refrigerator.
4. All-in-One Solution for Heating, Cooling, DHW, and Pool:
The APOLLO series Heat Pumps integrate seamlessly into a comprehensive Hydronic All-in-One HVAC System:
Radiant Floor Heating: Use the APOLLO heat pump to provide cozy warmth through radiant floor systems.
Fan Coil Units (FCUs): Connect the heat pump to FCUs for efficient cooling and heating in individual rooms.
Central Air Handlers (AHUs): Achieve whole-house comfort by integrating the heat pump with central air handlers.
Domestic Hot Water (DHW): The APOLLO heat pump can also supply hot water for daily use.
Pool Heating: Extend your swimming season by using the heat pump to warm your pool water.
5. Smart Thermostat Control and Energy Labeling
Smart EVI Inverter Structure: The Smart Thermostat Control System adjusts the APOLLO Heat Pump’s load automatically based on climate conditions, ensuring optimal performance year-round.
A+++ Energy Labeled: The APOLLO heat pumps are among the most energy-efficient options available. They can significantly reduce your energy costs while maintaining comfort.
In summary, the MBtek APOLLO series Heat Pumps offer a winning combination of energy efficiency, versatility, quiet operation, and smart features. When integrated into a Hydronic All-in-One HVAC Hydronic System, they provide reliable heating, cooling, and hot water solutions for your household.
Feel free to explore these benefits further and consider how the APOLLO series Heat Pumps can enhance your home comfort!
This was the smallest purchase I’ve made so far, and whether it’s an entire system or a single part, the team at MBTEK treats every job as a top priority. Always professional. Always helpful. They’re not just a heating supply house — they’re my go-to heating experts.
The tech support guy was knowledgeable. Paid for item but didn’t receive for over a month. Call and make sure item is in stock before buying on line. Good customer service.
Two years ago I installed the 50kw conversion burner head onto an eight section three pass cast iron boiler. The boiler was originally set up to burn coal and wood in 1991. It is of Italian manufacture and of high quality. I converted it to burn oil in 1994. In 2021 I replaced that boiler with an efficient compact oil boiler in the house. I moved the original boiler to an outside building that is set up with all controls, water buffer storage and valving with the 200btu conversion burner head. I installed the Apollo hot water coil tank inline on the return side of the system in the house. after using and testing of this system the MBTEK system provides heat to the boiler building, the 5250 square feet of heated living space and makes all of our DHW for a 3 bathroom 5 bedroom 3 story house. In Summer it heats our pool. I set the boiler to provide 70C/160F water and all I have to do is put pellets in the hopper. Reliability is all day long.
Three things, Good Engineering, Good Quality Components, Good Service and Support.
Install 2 inch boiler protection valve on twin boiler install… Very concerned about boilers condensing this valve works great in addition to a hydraulic separator. I’m very pleased with the valve.
