Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how MBTEK handles shipping, delivery conditions, address changes, missed appointments, pre-orders, and shipment-related issues for orders placed through our website.

Shipping Costs and Options

After entering your shipping information at checkout, available shipping options and shipping costs will be displayed. Shipping costs may vary depending on the delivery address, shipping type, and any additional services required for delivery in Canada or the United States.

Pricing and Product Availability

All prices are subject to change without notice. Product availability and inventory levels are also subject to change without notice. If an order is canceled for any valid reason, the same item may no longer be available, or it may no longer be available at the same price originally paid.

Pre-Order Terms

If an item is not available in stock at the time of purchase, it is considered a pre-order. Waiting time for pre-order items can average between four (4) and twelve (12) weeks.

Cancellation of pre-order items may result in a 20% cancellation fee. Shipping dates provided at the time of purchase are estimates only. Customs processing, transit conditions, carrier delays, and other factors may affect delivery timing.

Once an order is paid, all applicable terms and conditions are deemed accepted.

Additional Shipping and Handling Costs

Our delivery service is based on the information provided at the time the order is placed. Additional fees may apply if extra equipment, extra manpower, restricted access, location limitations, delays, or rescheduling requirements affect the delivery process.

Please provide complete and accurate delivery information when placing your order to help avoid additional charges.

Change of Shipping Address

If a shipping address change is requested after an order has shipped, the customer is responsible for an address change fee of at least $150 or the actual cost incurred by MBTEK, whichever amount is greater.

While we will try to assist with address changes after shipment, we cannot guarantee that such requests can be completed successfully, and delays may occur.

Missed Delivery Appointments

Once your order is ready to ship, the carrier may contact you to schedule a delivery date and time. These appointments cannot always be changed. Missing a scheduled delivery appointment may result in a redelivery or rescheduling fee starting at $150 or the actual cost incurred by MBTEK, whichever amount is greater.

Entryway and Access Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to review the dimensions of the ordered product and ensure that the item can safely fit through entrances, hallways, stairways, and the intended delivery path.

If a customer requests cancellation or return because the item does not fit through the entryway or into the intended space, return fees may apply and a full refund may not be granted.

Estimated Delivery Times

All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Shipments may be delayed by weather, customs, carrier limitations, or other events outside of our control.

Shipping Process and Property Conditions

We take reasonable care during the shipping and delivery process. However, by accepting delivery services, the customer acknowledges that MBTEK is not responsible for damage to property, walkways, or loose and fixed fixtures where site conditions, access limitations, or obstacles contribute to the issue.

Before delivery, please ensure that walkways are clear and that fragile items are protected or removed from the delivery path.

Original Packaging Requirement

If you may need to return an item, the original box and packaging may be required for return eligibility. Please keep all original packaging after delivery. If the original box is discarded, return eligibility may be denied.

Damage Inspection Upon Delivery

Please inspect your shipment carefully upon delivery before accepting it. If there is visible damage, shortage, discrepancy, or evidence of tampering, this must be clearly noted on both the Bill of Lading (BOL) and the Proof of Delivery (POD) before signing.

We strongly recommend taking clear pictures and short videos during delivery and unpacking. If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, you must notify MBTEK in writing within five (5) days of receiving the shipment.
