The device works, and a lot of information is available in the app. A recommendation for the seller: add a section on the website with instructions for download.

Has more potential.

I wanted to like this and I think the actual WI-Fi router has more potential in the software than in the hardware.
Ive used hardware like this before and its solid. The problem is the software that the company is lacking in very hard.
Ive been using it for over two months and monitoring my usage for the most part.
Here is what I do like about it.
I can view the sensors and read the data that the computer is producing. From my Pellet 40 DUO boiler, I can see what I need but I have a very limited amount of control of the unit.
Yes I can go into the system settings and change some parameters but what I would really want to use this for is the remote control of the unit.
The main point I can control is the Boiler set temp, feed rate, Air flow rate and some limiters. Also I can turn the unit on or off completely. I find that feature the most useless. I would rather be able to start or stop the unit vs turning it on or off.
I have not been able to get into the service parameters because it will not allow me even though Im using the same code as the actual unit. This is vital for me to do off-location troubleshooting but I can not get into that.

Also The computer will not let me view the outdoor thermometer temp and the exhaust temp.
I have reached out to the company and it is not responding.

I feel the abilities of the software are great but are being restricted a lot.
This is a good tool for monitoring the data it collects over time. Measuring the amount of fuel used or the fluctuations in heating over night when manually burning.
Speaking of manual burning.
I can not access the override to go from manual burn to pellet burn. That would be a good feature to have as well.
Overall its an overpriced data collector. I was not able to get the Wifi to work but I hardwired it instead.
MBtek please update your software for more control of the unit.

Lastly, there is a delay in sending the information to the computer. Its about 20-30 seconds. I can live with that but the other features would be a huge improvement for the device.
