The Phoenix boiler is the new generation of high-efficiency boilers. With a very high efficiency (up to 96%), it competes with all the major expensive Scandinavian brands for a fraction of the price, at least half the price of the latter. Compare, you will see.
Unlike most pellet boilers, the Phoenix unit is extremely compact because its pellet tank is built directly on the heat exchanger, all in a single frame (mono-block). Added to this is its high performance multi-pass tubular heat exchange system (16 tubes in total), which allows installation in tight spaces.
Thanks to the integrated self-cleaning system, maintenance is minimal. All you have to do is pull ing the exchanger cleaner lever and empty the ash pan once or twice a month (about 5 minutes) and the cleaning is done.
It can contain 8¼ bags of pellets (240lbs) for an autonomy of 3 to 10 days (depending on your energy demand). It is completely programmable and lets you decide when it is on or off.

Got a 2400 square foot house with Three zones. 2 zones for the two levels and one for a indirectly fired water heater.

Boiler delivered, stayed in the garage in its original wrappings until 15 July 2023. Basement prepped, moved boiler into area. Crate and packaging look good, at first glance, everything looks ok. Complete unvailing, inspection and installation being scheduled for middle of Aug 2023. Mbtek kept me informed of shipping and delivery times and dates, happy thus far. Keep you informed.
I was due for a new furnace and the prices of heating oil was a challenging thought. I took the leap and ordered/installed a Phoenix 30 after seeing my father in Wisconsin heat his entire home with a pellet stove. I couldn't be happier. The upfront costs of the install will pay themselves off in two years and I will continue to heat my home in New England for the small amount of $900 a year. Well worth it if you are looking to save some money. I love it!
I was able to install the unit myself. It has been running for over a month now and has been rock solid. Wish I had made the switch to this much sooner. Very happy. Wish list: External additional pellet storage with auger delivery.
