I purchased the UNI 95 about 4 years ago, but just installed it about two seasons ago. It heats my house (3,650 sgft) and my workshop (1,500 sqft). I only use it during te heating season, eventhough my set-up includes domestic hot water heating. My UnI 95 is located outside in a small structure separate from house and workshop. Heated water/glycol mix is pumped using pex pipe to the workshop fitted with a water to forced air heat exchanger. In the house, the UNI 95 feeds two potable water storage tanks via heat exchangers. The storage tanks provide domestic hot water and (via a second set of heat exchanges) supply heat for the radiant floor.
Operation of the wood boiler has been pretty much flawless, the boiler easily heats both workshop and house. One caveat: I live in North Carolina and the coldest temps experienced with this heating system was ~0-4 F.
Fit and finish of the boiler construction was very good and actually exceeded my expectations. Operation including cleaning and maintenance are quite simple. One item of improvement concerns the manual for the control unit and the boiler description: MBTEK, please do take the time and get a translation by a native speaker along with some examples that explain the operation, functions and adjustments in clear languange!
One regret: I should have bought this boiler sooner!
Cheers,
Bernhard
